WBS Pens Come Up Short

It was a special teams game for the Crunch tonight converting three out of six power plays and netting a short handed goal against the Penguins.

The Pens didn't convert any power plays tonight and they were given 5 man advantages against the Crunch. This loss puts the Pens at 5 wins 3 losses on the season against the Crunch but sees them slipping in the standings, this isn't the time of the season you want to be going down in the standings looking at play-offs right around the corner.

Curry didn't have a bad game tonight but didn't have a great game either stopping 22 out of 27 shots but the game was decided by the special teams if the Pens could have converted a few of the power plays they could have been in this game but it just wasn't in the cards for the boys tonight. The Crunch win this one 5 to 2.

The boys now travel to hershey to take on the Bears who are sitting in first place in the division, the Pens mean while sit in fourth at the moment 31 points behind the Bears and hanging on.
